Sesame Street Cupcakes

These are homemade Sesame Street Cupcakes with items I happened to have in my kitchen. My friend called last minute and asked to visit for breakfast this morning, along with her kids. So, a quick early morning cupcake bake was necessary.

I looked in my baking basket, and found a great bag of liquorice that I couldnt resist from TJ Maxx. I thought some ofthe little candies shapes would make great eyes and noses on cupcakes.

Her youngest daughter loves to watch Sesame Street. So, I was thinking Cookie Monster Cupcakes, or Big Bird Cupcakes, etc.

I ended up making vanilla cupcakes into a great Sesame Street Cupcake variety. Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Grover and Oscar.

These cupcakes were so cute. The kids loved them.

Just a hint Mom's: Keep in mind the food tint blended on the coconut will make yur children a bit messy, but it all washes out.

It was a great Sunny Day.
