Sweet Sixteen Cupcakes with Pink and Black Skull Design

These are the cutest Sweet Sixteen Cupcakes. I could not resist adding this pink and black skull and crossbone Sweet Sixteen Cupcake to my birthday cupcake recipes list. I love the color combination. It gives the Skull and Bones a new look. Geared for the teenager who is still sweet, and with a bit of edge.
The cupcakes in this photo were made with fondant. You can probably find the skull and bones cut out in your craft store. If not, try online. I liked the color of this design so much, that I thought of a few other alternatives. If you did not want to use fondant, you could use a white, pink,or chocolate mold or transfer.
You can use just about any cupcake recipe you like. I've included a vanilla recipe, with cinnamon heart candies in the batter. You can find so many coordinating designs at the party and craft store to coordinate with these cupcakes.
There are many different Sweet 16 invitations, party games and traditions you can plan for your party, how about coordinating your cupcakes, with a
